Second, he dances a ton in the backfield. He frequently goes down with 1st contact. So why do I have him here? First, for being such a large back he plays like he’s 180 pounds. He also has experience as a punt returner which I like to see in WRs (Lamb, Waddle, etc).īreece Hall: Elite size, speed, pass-catching, draft capital, and dominant in college. He gets excellent separation and always seems to be open. Wilson has elite body control and can contort in any direction to make a catch as long as it is in his general proximity. Garrett Wilson: Just like how I have a type at RB, I have a type at WR - and that type is twitched up YAC monsters. The one downside I see to taking Walker is that I anticipate this being similar to Javonte in 2021 where Walker and Penny will be splitting the backfield for the majority of the season. It is almost halftime and he rips off a big run, but instead of going for more yards, he slides to give his team a shot at a field goal. One notable example of this is again Miami in 2021. He is more than capable of catching passes and looks natural doing so (UNC 2020). You will hear claims that he isn’t a good pass catcher, which is far from true. He also landed in an offense that loves to run the ball. He has excellent lateral agility and great ball control (only 1 fumble in 2021). Kenneth Walker III: Every season I fall in love with the backs that have great burst and contact balance. I have thoughts on all of these guys and would love to discuss them in detail with y'all, but I am going to point out a few notable players.
